We’re Excited to Announce the Details for This Year’s Mid-Year Concert!

Our Mid-Year Concert is a fun, informal event that gives parents, grandparents, and friends the chance to see everything your children have been learning in class during the first half of the year. It's truly a highlight for our students and families — and a celebration you won’t want to miss!

WHEN

Saturday 4th July at 12pm and 2pm

LOCATION

Our Mid Year Showcase will be held at Warners Bay Theatre, Lake Street Warners Bay

UNIFORM

All students are required to wear full Belmont Dance Centre uniform to perform in as well as the correct footwear. This includes:

"MUMMY & ME"

Girls: BDC pale pink flutter sleeve ballet dress, ballet socks or tights and canvas ballet shoe

PRE SCHOOL PROGRAM

Girls: BDC pale pink flutter sleeve ballet dress, ballet socks or tights and canvas ballet shoes

Tap: As above with tan tap shoes

KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM (Kindy at school)

Girls:BDC lilac flutter sleeve ballet dress, ballet socks or tights and canvas ballet shoes

Tap: As above with tan tap shoes

YEAR 1, 2 & 3 PROGRAM

Ballet: Either BDC lilac flutter sleeve ballet dress or lilac leotard, ballet socks or tights and canvas ballet shoes

Tap: As above with tan tap shoes

Jazz: Tan jazz shoes

Hip Hop: As above with WHITE soled lace up sneakers

YEARS 4 & 5

Ballet: BDC lavender leotard, convertable ballet tights and ballet shoes

Jazz: BDC lavender leotard, black BDC shorts, convertable ballet tights and tan jazz shoes

Musical Theatre: BDC T-SHIRT with black BDC shorts and tan jazz shoes

Contemporary: BDC lavender leotard, BDC shorts, convertable ballet tights & canvas 1/2 shoes

Tap: BDC T-SHIRT with black BDC shorts and tan tap shoes

Hip Hop: BDC T-SHIRT with black BDC shorts with WHITE soled lace up sneakers

YEARS 6 & 7

Ballet: BDC black leotard, convertable ballet tights and ballet shoes

YEAR 8 +

Hip Hop: BDC T-SHIRT with black "trash bag" pants with WHITE soled lace up sneakers

Please note: The venue can get quite cold inside. Dancers may wish to wear something warm over their uniform that they can take off quickly and easily like a jacket etc. Our BDC perfromance jackets are perfect for this!

Make sure you don't leave any uniform purchases until the last minute as our uniform does sell out fast!

GROOMING

Hair is to be in a slick bun WITH A HAIRNET on the crown of the head. Please ensure you use hairspray on those whispy bits and that all fringes are gelled back. Our pin sets are available at the studio and have everything you need in it for the perfect bun! Please refer to our bun tutorial if you need an extra help with doing buns!

There is no need for makeup as there are no stage lights. (If your dancer would like to wear a little bit of makeup that is completely fine)

Please also make sure shoes and uniforms are clean and looking presentable, and please ensure there are no holes in your child's tights!

To keep our backstage area as calm and organised as possible, we ask that all younger students do not bring bags backstage. All extras such as tap shoes can be placed into a clearly named zip lock bag before your child is dropped off at the stage door. This makes it so much easier for our wonderful backstage team to keep everything together and ensure your child has everything they need! 🎭✨

If you are unsure of your dancers class names these can be viewed on the Parent Portal or on your Enrolment Confirmation.

NOTE: these are not a final running order. They are just a list of classes in each show and arrival times. Final running orders will be confirmed closer to the concert.

Reminder: Join Us on Band App!

If you haven't already, please make sure you are connected to your dancer’s classes on the Band App. Our teachers will be posting important class updates, videos of routines, and music for your dancer to practice with as we prepare for Mid-Year performances.

If you need any help joining your dancer’s class on Band, feel free to reach out — we're happy to assist!

Tickets go on sale 10am 20th June, 2026 and can be purchased by clicking the button at the top of this page.

TICKETING INFORMATION

ALL TICKETS TBC

* Children under 4 do not require a ticket if they will not be occupying a seat and sitting on a parents lap.

Note: Tickets are general admission, there is no allocated seating or limits on number of tickets you can purchase.

Tickets available until sold out.

*** Dancers do not need to purchase a ticket to their show or to watch siblings if they are not occupying a seat. ***

IMPORTANT

*All ticket sales are final.

*No refunds or exchanges will be issued, and tickets cannot be transferred to alternate show dates

*Please ensure you review the Show Orders to purchase tickets to the correct show.

Arriving at the Theatre

To ensure a smooth and stress-free experience for everyone, please read the following arrival information carefully before show day.

Arrival Time

Children are to arrive at the theatre half an hour before their show begins, fully dressed and with hair completed.

What to Wear & Bring

Your child should arrive wearing their BDC uniform with shoes on as per the show order - shoes should be covered with socks or ballet booties to keep them clean until showtime

All additional shoes should be placed in a clearly named zip lock bag.

Please bring a small drink bottle with your child's name clearly written on it — a small disposable plastic bottle is perfect!

No bags are to be brought backstage.

Drop Off

We ask that one parent brings their child to the drop off area, located to the right of the main auditorium doors, at the end of the hall past the restrooms. Here you will be warmly greeted by one of our wonderful BDC teachers. 🎀

There will be tubs at the drop off point for zip lock bags — simply pop them in and our backstage team will take care of everything from there!

We kindly ask that no parents come backstage with the children.

Collecting Your Child After the Show

Preschool & Kindergarten students — one parent is asked to remain in the auditorium and come to the stage at the end of the show to collect their child. For the safety of all of our dancers, collection will be done in an orderly fashion. Children will not be permitted to be taken from the front of the stage.

Show 1

Senior students will make their way back down the hallway to be collected by their parents

Show 2

Years 1, 2 & 3 will be brought onto the stage for collection

Students in Grades 4, 5, 6 & 7 will make their way down the hallway to their parents
